Church Touts Website for "Fast, Fast, Fast Relief."

New York, NY. -- The Marble Collegiate Church continues its unchurch-like campaign with a new ad that sounds more like it should be for Excedrin. The headline shouts, "For Fast, Fast, Fast, Relief" and is answered by the church website address marblechurch.org. "The website offers a myriad of relevant, spiritually uplifting programs," says John Follis, the ad's creator.

Follis, President/CD of Follis/NY, conceived the idea after personally conducting some research. "The the logic came directly from my casual conversations with the people we were trying to reach. Many had seen and loved the previous ads, but never came to church. When I asked 'why' they'd simply say, 'I don't GO to church.' That's when it hit me. The way to get these folks to check out the church was to get'em to check out the web site," says Follis.

The Marble website features over two dozen programs, activities and groups ranging from Divorce Recovery and an Entrepreneurs Group to a Gay and Lesbian Fellowship. The church also attracts nationally known speakers who are promoted on the site. "It's hard to vist the site and NOT see something to check out" says Follis.

So far, the 3-year old campaign is working. Since the campaign launched, attendance is up over 30%..."The highest it's been in 30 years," according to the church.

The new campaign kicks off September 1st with 1200 subway posters and 200,000 postcards.
